With SpaceFi 2.0 on the way, we’d like to share another important plan: The Expanding in L2s.
Keep Native on zkSync and Start L2s Expanding from Scroll
Layer2 is becoming a revolution in the crypto world, with fierce competitions and promising values. SpaceFi is focused on zkSync ecosystem and also hopes to bring more value to the community through expanding in more L2s.
To better get the new traction and coordinate the benefits of the users in different ecosystems, we plan to fork SpaceFi separately to expand in other ecosystems, similar to Velodrome (№1 DEX on Optimism) and its forked product Aerodrome (№1 DEX on Base).
Take the Expanding in Scroll ecosystem as an example.
We’ll fork a new product named ScrollSpace focusing on Scroll separately, adopting all 2.0 features. ScrollSpace will also have a new token (e.g. sSPACE) and allocate part to the supporters on zkSync and Evmos.
1. This will be more conducive to expand in the new L2.
From the development of Optimism, Base and Arbitrum ecosystem, ecosystem based DEX is becoming the growth engine, although multichain DEX is also meaningfully impacting L2s. The new product will help build the native DEX on the new L2 and be more flexible to develop, achieving the goals and values of the native ecosystem.
2. This will help the growth and sustainability of SpaceFi on zkSync .
It won’t increase the emission of SPACE or affect the liquidity on zkSync, but will bring new growth and value.
A) Some new token on the new L2 will be allocate to Planet NFT and xSPACE holders.
B) Some new token on the new L2 will be allocate to Exclusive Campaigns on zkSync, for example Planet NFT Minting Campaign, to burn more SPACE token.
C) Some new token on the new L2 will be allocate to incentivize the liquidity growth on zkSync.
3. This will help build more new values to the community.
Starting from zkSync, we hope to capture more values through expanding in more L2s. Our supporters in each ecosystem can share the benefits of different ecosystems. Meanwhile, we’ll hold on the vision of building SpaceFi as the DeFi hub. It will incubate new DeFi or NFT, etc., products in the future, continuously empowering the SPACE token and the community.
About SpaceFi 2.0: SpaceFi 2.0 is pretty much a reimagined product with some major improvements. It will be launched on zkSync, Scroll and more L2s after fully testing, migrating from 1.0.
